its really stupid how people -and me- lable avril as a poser and talk about hwo her music sux and all that shit. because if you really think about it i bet if you got a record deal BUT YOU DIDNT and dressed like her and made trl you'd be called a poser. how do you even know she's a poser in the first place. you didnt go to school with her you dont know her. and another thing..she must not suck enough to get a record deal. and maybe if all you "punks" wouldnt take so much offense or stop buying the magazines she's in she wouldnt get so much publicity or media whatever you wanna call it. and we would all benefit from that!

oh yea and another thing..why would anyone want to be a "punk" nowadays? all they are, are judgemental stereotypical snobs who dont except people for who they are. hmm...thata sounds to me EXACTLY like the ones they call "preps"

i dont know why i ever wanted to be a part of that clique i guess it was just somewhere that i could fit in and be stereotyped.

and just because you listen to a certain type of music doesnt mean anything at all...

what really ticks me off is when people think they have the authority to call people posers. what exactly gives someone that right anyways? its somehow a whole different issue when that person really is a poser. i can understand stuff like that because i do it. but that still doesnt make it right.

but then again what gives people the right to lable other people and catagorize them? nothing i guess but we still do it.

im not saying i dont do it because god knows i do. but i dont have the right anymore than anyone else does.

i can kinda see what gives the person sort of i guess a right to call another person a poser. Like if a person is part of a certain group and then they see that another person from outsied their group is maybe wearing similar clothes listening to "thier" music or acting a certain way they have the right to step in. but doesnt that person also have the right to be an individual? i guess i just dont understand why we do it. well yea i guess i do now. its just another way to let people know that they better not cross their territory or GOD DAMMIT they are going to call you a poser.

once i was called a poser by someone out of my group. she said that because i had spiked my hair i was trying to pose as a skater..PUHLEESE fool!! if i really truly wanted to pose as a skater all i would have to do is wear some skate clothes and shoes because goddammit if you like the slothes thats to fucken bad because you have to skate to wear them. that would be to easy.

and then apparently april and i are the preps of the dirties to a couple of people! what kind of bullshit is that? because i wash my hair and clothes im a prep?

but honestly im kind of glad im in the group im in because if i wasnt i just would be me...
